Giants feel more comfortable with Belt at 1B, therefore Huff should see plenty of time in LF and Belt at 1B. Giants could decide to put Nate in 4th OF role and start Belt.

Update on Giants situation. The team we have now is pretty much the team we will endup with going into opening day.

Baggs article also says that Pagan does indeed outrank Cabrera on the depth chart especially in CF.

Rule V results. The giants did not lose anyone, but the pick up a kid in the minor league portion of the draft (Luis Rojas, RHP) from the Mutts. I am not aware of any minor league Rule V'ers that have ever accounted for anything, so not sure if this post is even worth the paper it us written on.

Agreed that's way too much $ for a sorta good pitcher...but the years are good. I feel much better about resigning our guys, especially Timmy, for 5 yr deals not 7-8.
