Zack Wheeler lasted just 5 innings, allowing only 1 run on 7 hits...but his pitch count did him in. 101 thru 5.

Juan Lagares hit a solo dinger in the 3rd.
Robbie Cano hit a 2 run blast in the 4th
Pete Alonso crushed a solo bomb in the 5th
(his MLB leading 45th.)

Amed Rosario had a 2 run single, and then Jeff McNeil hit an rbi knock in the 6th.


Mets had a 7-1 lead in the 6th...but of course Mickey is still being Mickey. He decided to bring in Familia to begin the bottom of the 6th.

Familia walked 2, surrendered an rbi single, then w/ 2 outs he gave up a 2 run double.


Luis Avilan came in and struck out Juan Soto to end it.


Heading to the 7th...Mets lead has been cut to 7-4.

Seth Lugo gave up a 1 out double but nothing else in the 7th.
