He wasnt taken into custody though. I already saw the report

Yeah... I saw he has 10 days to get back to East Lansing and deal with the charge.

I'm no police or law expert but... that probably does rule out some very serious things. I still think there's plenty of room for things that could spell trouble.

No point in speculating though... who knows. It could be nothing.

As far as arrests go... sounds like this is probably as little of a deal as it could be...

Asked the East Lansing PD about last night's incident involving Draymond Green: "We are confirming that Draymond Green was arrested for assault in our downtown business district early Sunday morning at around 2:30AM. The victim was a male. It was basically an altercation between two guys. There's no injuries. He was released with a 200 dollar bond on Sunday. And he's got 10 days to get arraigned and then prosecution will continue from there." Police confirm that the establishment where the altercation occurred was Conrad's Grill in East Lansing.

It's probably no worse than what Blake Griffin did. I also read that it's being prosecuted by the city attorney instead of the district attorney, so I guess it's pretty much as low level as it could be. Still, though, Draymond and any other NBA player should be smarter and avoid trouble. Shouldn't be out so late.

Rumor is he kicked a cop in the nuts. His defense is that he randomly flails his legs while being talked to.

Sounds like a piece of shit who knew who Green was just looking for his 15 minutes of fame and maybe an easy payoff from a lawsuit.

People like that are disgusting.

Lmao right?!

This is a low level charge, and nothing may even come of it after all the facts come out. However, there still should be a Klay, Steph, and KD intervention.

There is someone suing J.R. Smith for millions after a little altercation in New York City. I hope that suit goes nowhere.
