I agree with you about Miller not being here is a plus. He has been disappointing since we got him. I'm still not sure how I feel about Ponce.

The good news is that we beat the Pirates tonight as the old man Carpenter, fighting for his survival, did it again.

9.1 K/9 and 2.4 BB/9 are solid rates, though there was a time where 9.1 was considered elite. I'm sure his strikeout rate will rise.
