Dalton is better than Flacco, Stafford, Palmer, and Manning.
Okay then.

Not exactly sure what makes you think Roethlisberger, Carr, and Wilson are better than Ryan. Hell even Brees at this point is questionable.
Okay then.
I feel like this is an "whatever" type of comment, but he really is.
He was actually the MVP two years ago before his finger injury and last year the Bengals O-Line was in disarray.
I'm gonna need to see more than one great year from Ryan. See: Cam Newton, 2015, then see Cam Newton, 2016.
He's had more than one great year.
He's had plenty good years. But last year was his only true great year.
What's yourarbitrarysubjectivedefinition of "great?"
100+ QB rating is a good start. And you can go ahead and use arbitrary and subjective. I'm not claiming to be some QB expert here. Just one man giving his opinion.
So in your opinion Tony Romo isn't a great QB.
As for Ryan IMO when a guy throws (TD/INT) 28/9 and 32/14 those are pretty great years.
That's cool. It's your opinion and I'm not gonna argue against it. If that's your definition of a great year, okay then.
S'wrong with that? I've got him over Winston. I don't have him as the 6th best QB in the league, but I've got him over Winston.

I think it's a cumulative effect of several factors with a sprinkling of the "eye test" thrown in.
And dammit... you quoted before my edit. Here reply to this, it makes more sense and![]()
"So in your opinion John Elway never had a great season and his career 79.9 QB rating is very far from great."
Eli Manning #9? Whatever....
Different eras. Elway was great in his era. A 79.9 QB rating in today's NFL is a sign of a very average QB.
Too high? Too low? I'm no fan of Eli, there just aren't many good QBs in the NFL right now. I had him at 17 one year, and Giants fans got super offended.

Well you apparently have him too high now and redskins fans are getting super offended.
