Awesome....but I only replied to the person who showed the info comparing Baker to Marino.

Try to keep up, and if you are struggling ask for help.
LOL, no struggling whatsoever, other than underestimating the level of Browns homerism present in this thread.

Could Trubiski have bitch-slapped the Bears more today?

The question is no longer should Dalton start, but is becoming should Dalton make the roster...

I understand losing, but last?

yeah not a good look. She was way too cocky. My respect for her went out the window when she took shots at the other americans in the olympics. Hopefully this was a wake up call

So many players not playing preseason then watch we'll hear complaints about rust/lack of game action if their team lose week 1

lol thought EXACTLY the same thing. I know these guys don't like playing in these games(the starters mostly), but reps and "knocking off the ring rust" is important. looking at the Rams/Raiders game yesterday I thought the same thing you did about coaches like McVay going to the excuse card. guess we'll see how it goes once the real games get under way...

There's definitely a "balance" that they should be trying to get to. Players need to get their bodies used to hitting again, but too much hitting can have them wearing down by the end of the season and/or risk injury. No hitting at all, can have them going into the season not as prepared physically and cause injuries.

That's just the physical aspect and doesn't include things like timing, etc. which if they are off, can cost them a game or 2 early in the season.

Obviously, starters/veterans don't need as much time as the young guys/non-starters...but they still need to get some plays at game speed.

Dalton will, he actually played better than Fields. Dalton doesn't play defense.

11 of 17 for 146 yards, 1 TD and an INT.

Fields was 9 of 19 for 80 yards.

Dalton will, he actually played better than Fields.

11 of 17 for 146 yards, 1 TD and an INT.

Fields was 9 of 19 for 80 yards,

Dalton is going to start, but there is a lot more to it than that.

Fields’ mobility opens up the offense in a way Dalton never can.

So Dalton will need to play lights out to hold him off. And it is in the Bears best interest for Fields to watch a few games before he gets in. Still a lot to learn.
