The Raiders defense let a team with a QB signed 10 minutes before the game, drive 98 yards in under 2 minutes to win the game and committed 2 stupid penalties to help the cause.

That's on them, not Carr.

I was talking about Carr and not the defense.

What does the Raiders D have to do with Carr only going 11-20 with two picks?

I know their D isn't good. Last week on Around the Horn they said the Vegas is ranked 26th or 28th. But it's not the D's fault Carr turned the ball over twice.

What was it, an 8 play 90+ yard game winning TD drive with no timeouts he led the Rams on?

What I find most impressive is he was only in Los Angeles for a minute and he started. He doesn't know his teammates and can't imagine he was familiar with the playbook yet.

He probably won't be with the Rams next season. But I'd be surprised if some team isn't interested in him next season.

Really depends on how he finishes the season.

He was the worst QB in the league for Carolina.

And he only managed to post 3 points against a pretty vulnerable Raiders defense through 55 minutes.

The ending Thursday seemed more flukey than anything else.

We shall see.

I mean, there is that pesky only with them for about the same 55 minutes before having to play (yes, bit of an exaggeration).

I didn't see the first 3 quarters but others who have said he looked OK.

For sure what happens to him next season depends more on what he does in other opportunities he may get this year....but I wouldn't rule out McAdoo's offense just being really bad in Carolina.

Do the Panthers have any weapons on the offensive side of the ball? Not familiar with their team. BM proved when he has talent around him he can put up decent numbers, talking about the '20 season. But even that might have just been a one season fluke.

He has the rest of the season to prove he's a legit starting QB. Too bad the Rams offense isn't a little closer to 100% for him.

Just looked up the Rams current injuries. Holy crap the injury bug is kicking their ass on both side of the ball. Didn't realize it was that bad for them right now.

As far as BM. Wouldn't be surprised if he has more bad moments on the field than good ones the rest of the season.

I wouldn’t rule it out either.

I watched the whole game. The end was crazy and he had some great throws during that stretch.

Not fair to evaluate a QB who has been with his team for 2 days.

Baker has always shown the ability to make elite throws on occasion. Whether or not he generates interest on the open market will depend on what he does moving forward.

If he plays decent, he will have opportunities.

@thunderc how confident are you that Army covers?

Just curious because I took Navy and laid the points.
Army still playing for a bowl game plus getting points is why I took them.

Mayfield could also consider staying there on a 1 year deal to rehab his image and with Staff coming off an injury....he could see action next season.

Bad O-Line for sure.

But when he was there, he had McCaffery and Moore, who he had zero rapport with.

Also seems play calling ineptitude could play a role here

Would you bet money that BM will look good the rest of the season? I wouldn't. And I wasn't imply he looked good against the Raiders or anything.

I definitely would not.

McVay is a heck of a coach.

But bad O-line and few playmakers.

I would bet against Baker performing well in LA

But I wasn't talking about the defense at all. You brought them up. I was only talking about Carr's numbers in that game and nothing else.

Wonder if he's disappointed the Rams picked him up and not the 49ers?
