You realize that the largest chunk of that was the house and travel for his parents, right? It's not like he was showing up on campus with all kinds of expensive stuff that he couldn't explain where it came from. Even the car that he was supposedly given, was a POS by USC student standards and was not outside the means of his family. We're not talking about some dirt, poor family that suddenly had toys and cash. Additionally, ALL of it happened in San Diego which is approximately 3 1/2 hours from USC.

In fact, when interviewed the agent said: "Everything was done behind closed doors, away from campus. We knew it had to be that way because Reggie could get in trouble".

Literally, the only way for USC to know, would have been to hire a private investigator to follow his family around.

What does basketball have to do with it? This is about the football program. Nice try at deflecting though. It shows that you're reduced to grasping at straws.

Since you brought it up though, what the basketball coach did was actually much worse (according to the NCAA) because it involved a coach allegedly paying a player directly. Yet, the punishment on the basketball program was basically a slap on the wrist.

Haha, if you can't connect the dots, I'll explain. When even your woman's tennis program is getting hit for serious NCAA violations, there is a huge culture of cheating, and it's pretty ballsy to claim ignorance. People are hired to make sure these teams are following NCAA regulations. Your football program wasn't above this culture.

" When your womans tennis program is getting hit FOR SERIOUS NCAA Violations"

Do you even know what this SERIOUS violation was? A member of the team used a school card to call out of state home. Considering all the stuff the NCAA let go in Miami - Auburn- NC do you really think that was a serious violation? The NCAA finds nothing wrong with Cams dad asking schools for money for his sons services. But a chick on the tennis team uses a school phone card to call home and that they jump on.

Please, leave Auburn alone

You didn't think the NCAA would go after the SEC did you?

Must have been the length of the violation, the vacated three years of wins.

Preaching to the choir on the down south violations.

Now it's women's tennis? You're really getting desperate. Also, the women's tennis player was from another country and was found to have improperly used a telephone access card to call home. Clearly, with violations of that magnitude, the whole athletic department should have been shut down.

So let's re-cap:

The NCAA accused USC of knowing about the Bush situation, couldn't prove their case, so they changed it to "should have known" so they could sanction the program and are about to lose an anti-defamation lawsuit that is directly related to that case.

The basketball coach was accused of giving a player $1,000, but again, never proved their case and the player involved denies it to this day.

A women's tennis player from another country impermissibly used a telephone card to call home.

Yep, what a rogue program!!

When did ND fans become such drama queens? :drama:

Every thing you've tried to use has been shot down. Time to for you to admit defeat, run along and go work on your debating skills.

Wow, you can't even get that right.

There was one season of wins vacated plus 2 wins from the previous season (UCLA and the NCG).

A grand total of 14 vacated wins.

The women's tennis team also was cited in the report for unauthorized phone calls made by a former player, but the NCAA accepted USC's earlier elimination of its wins between November 2006 and May 2009.

Forgive me for not counting the total wins.

That's desperate even by ND standards!!:yahoo:

The point is, if USC is willing to commit violations in tennis, then what are they willing to do in football?

Shhhhh, he doesn't do linear thinking, stop deflecting. :) They didn't know about any of the violations, everyone involved denied it.

Meanwhile, we've won 3 out of 4. Including a win where Hendrix played the entire 2nd half.

Willing to commit violations? This like that game where you whisper something in someones ear and you go down the line and the story changes more and more the further you go. Scroll back. The "violation" was a womans tennis player used a phone card to call home ( shes from another country). That is the violation USC " is willing to commit"? The player committed it. That's like saying Notre Dame condoned a player to have a fake girlfriend and use the sad story of the GF dying just to gain sympathy and Heisman votes. A Notre dame player did it so Notre dame commited it just like Reggie took money USC cheated. hypocrisy at it's finest.

Still waiting on your proof of all of these violations that were taking place. I guess Domers are just used to making up crap that they can't back up with any proof.

Kind of like when they are asked to show pictures of their girlfriends!!

Would that be "Domer fans" or a Notre Dame player?
