Yeah he's consistently one of the worst umps in baseball. People like to say umpiring is so hard and they have the best in the world doing it. And while yes it is hard, guys like Bucknor and Angel Hernandez prove they don't have the best.

I love JK. Man that barely missed being a 3-run dinger. Also the right decision put in Goldsmith as the play-by-play down the stretch.... he's been wonderful as opposed to listening to Sims yaps about random shit.

As this game is being played through, the M's this year have the exact same runs given up as the Red Sox at 733. However, no where near the red sox in the runs scored department so obviously good for a negative runs differential. From low OPS to one run games to negative differential, by all means they should be with the likes of the Tigers.. Rockies etc... But they are not, they are competing for a play offs spot that is one game behind BOS. Tells me it's more than stats, it's heart, grit, and the keep fighting attitude that's keeping these guys in it.

The bottom of the 7th just showcased this.
