Indeed. If the A's had split the last 8 games against the M's instead of losing all 8 they'd be half a game up in the 2nd wild card spot.

why....cuz oakland is now..in the position..that seattle normally..is in...they have a good team...the position players..are all there...but..there are 2 probs

1 there rotation is falling apart....a normal prob of seattle..

2 there minors...is all out ..of...material..which it has not been...for a good 10-20 years...but now..they have made to many trades....and not enough..have panned out.......in the minors.....a normal..prob..of the mariners ....... as well..

and i think it is the tip..of the iceburgh...for oakland...which would prob be better..to rebuild.....with the angels..starting to....... come...on with there pitching..and..they are already one of the better hitting clubs......

Love seeing the power on display today. 9 straight wins against the A's is pretty crazy. 2 games out with 9 to go. Still not very good odds, but at least they've kept things interesting
