I won't say the Heat have quit -- because they haven't , but maybe they just should -- their efforts are just so uninspired - full strength or not -- if you aren't going to give it every thing you have -- just don't waste anyones time.
Again, regardless of our low expectations and the plan to build towards the future, the Heat really need to make it a priority to salvage what they can out of these games and season. Miami will always be a desireable destination for athletes for countless reasons -- But, winning and signs that the future is bright for the team is also an important factor.
If the heat want to continue to be players in future free agency periods to improve the team -- they need to show what they are capable of with the core and young pieces we've got. This is how you decrease the amount of rebuilding years and increase the win now years.
The next step in this season is to try and make the best out of the remaining games before the AS break and make sure we head into that period with something to look forward to.
At least Goran should play -- this thing with Waiters is just BS -- why all the SportsHoopla that he was ready to now say the complete opposite. Obviously, its best to hold someone back if you aren't sure how the body will react to returning from such injury - but no sense in making a fuss about him returning only to make this decision. Lets hope he is given the green light tomorrow
