Aaron Rodgers throws as good of an overinflated ball as anybody has ever thrown in the NFL. The guy is not a winner but you can't deny the fact that he is a beautiful passer. He's essentially a modern-day version of Dan Marino.

Rodgers has seemed to take heat for not being a good teammate but that is more media hate then from his teammates themselves I am guessing

Packers OL Hilariously Thanks Aaron Rodgers for Beach Day With Beautiful Women

Today we celebrate our nations independence, and people all over this beautiful country are having barbecues and watching fireworks.

Some people, like Green Bay Packers offensive lineman David Bakhtiari, are on jet ski's enjoying the water and catching some rays.

He's also enjoying the dozen or so women that are surrounding him, and he owes it all to his quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

What a great friend. And people say Aaron Rodgers isn't a great teammate.

It's Christmas in July for the big fella, and obviously he knew exactly what his 6-5, 311-pound offensive tackle wants.

So the rumors are true Arog prefers men.

Should we do one of those "Who is the better player" things here

After the first 9 years of having full seasons playing as starting QB which player is better?

1. 296 TDs and 72 interceptions
2. 225 TDs and 99 interceptions

Is not the top qualities of being a QB throwing TD passes and keeping the ball with your own offense so they have more opportunities to score.

Posters don't play the "what if game" with Dirt. He's an expert. You can't win. Too bad they don't award Lombardis for what ifs. If tge did TB and NE wouldn't have one. Right Dirt?

Funny thread. Hard to determine what y'all are arguing about. Frankly, who cares which QB is better? It's all about teamwork, good coaching, focus from the players, preparation for the games, determination and a will to win, together, as a team. No doubt, NE has done a better job than GB in recent years.

1. Obviously Rodgers has been better in his first 9 seasons than Brady was in his first 9. You haven't really made the point well, but he is better.

2. So you want to use the first 9 full seasons, and yet you count a season in which Brady missed the whole year due to injury? Come on

I think Rogers is the better QB, but New England is better at putting parts around the QB to be more successful.

I took the first 9 seasons both QBs played as full time starters. Rodgers has also missed time 9 games in 9 years as he was hurt one season there is not much difference in the games played to have the big difference in TDs and picks. Even considering different Era's will not make up the difference in the amount of TDs. That season Brady missed helped keep his interceptions down

That's cute.

Ricky is like the High school kid who dated the hottest cheerleader for the first 2 years and now a new one comes in and the guys all say she is hotter. Now his chick is a senior ,the hottest one is a jr and still the hottest and freshman that comes in, extremely hot and might be the hottest one day, and Ricky says that the new one is the hottest cause he is scorned.

I thought Montana was the Goat for like 30 years and it didn't change for me until the Seattle SB being down 10 in 4th Q with those 2 nice td passes. Then the 25 point deficit late in 3rd vs Atl was the icing on the cake. Rodgers still has time to play and might become the best if he can add to his resume. Does he make the HOF if he retired today? I know when did a poll here last mos Brady had over 50 votes, Montana had like 25 and AR had 7. Yet Pats fans are nut huggers. They won shit here w/o Brady Belichick was 5-13 before TB started and Belichick cost a few playoff games for Pats. He goes for it on 4th and 2 inside your own 30 vs Indy? Your down 8 points to Denver with over 6 min left and you don't kick a fg to get game to 5?

I understand what you did. You want a true measure, just compare their first 135 starts. Counting Brady's 2008 is like counting Rodgers 2005.

And like I said, Rodgers has been better through his first 9 years. Let's see if he keeps that up (or improves like Brady has) for the next 6/7/8 seasons

Which is much easier to do with the better QB.
Much easier to do, all dimensions respected, with a better, impecably coached team. Tom Brady is just a piece of the team, he consistenly says that much and gives much credit to his team mates. Really do not understand all this pissing in the wind if he is better than other QBs. Pats have built a great system of "We're here to kick your butt." That is enough for me, Brady is just another cog in the system, another brick in the wall.

key Word there being "PATS" fan, and I know you are

Whether you believe this or not, most of this board are just BRADY fans, and the Pats just happens to be the team he is on

Says the soccer fan.

Some truth to that.....If Brady ballwashers ever acknowledged the games he cost his team, or the games won with great assistance from teammates, id be more willing to acknowledge the great moments

No one gives a fuck what you're willing to acknowledge. You get to keep swinging from Eli and Aaron Rodger's nuts and Patriots fans get to keep sticking their 5 SB titles in your face.

The game has never been more quarterback-friendly when it comes to putting up stats. The game has never been more quarterback-centric because that position determines wins and losses moreso in today's game than at any other time in history. It certainly gives a guy like Brady a head start over the all time greats of past generations when it comes to 'team' success.

Having said that, there still needs to be a team. I'd say Brady has been fairly successful as per his own individual play when it comes to playoff time. He most certainly isn't the best though.

Having read this thread fully, it is funny to have people categorize "pats fans" as if we all live in the same basket. Carry on dirt, jarntt et al, keep making fools of yourselves, and ignoring many NE fans that have consistently shared objective opinions about our team and fantastic QB, for better or for worse. You guys simplify the board and with a subjective commentary undermine the good faith of perpetual pats fans that have tried to create in this mess of a place for years a common ground of understanding.
