But it appears he had more than 100 of them before he threw his 300th TD
That's true. Just funny how the writer used an average to make his point.
300 that's a lot of TDs for only one Lombardi.

Yea Brady had 3 at 300 but hopefully Rodgers wont go 10 years without one.

'hacks' like Favre, Manning and Marino...and specifically mocking Peyton?

...only an insecure patriot 'fan.'

Aaron Rodgers is about to do something Brady, Manning or Montana couldn't

Aaron Rodgers is about to do something Brady, Manning or Montana couldn't

You shouldn’t need to be reminded how good Aaron Rodgers is, right?

If you do, here’s a cool little statistical nugget that confirms once again that we’re watching a positively incredible quarterback having himself an all-time great career:

Pro Football Talk took that one step further: They discovered that he’ll be the first to hit 300 career touchdowns before tossing 100 interceptions.

They went through the 10 other quarterbacks with 300 touchdown passes — a list that includes Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Brett Favre and Dan Marino — and none of them did that.
Just in case anyone was curious. Here's the amount of INTs each of the 10 QBs had when they threw their 300th TD.

John Elway: 226
Fran Tarkenton: 219
Eli Manning: 203
Brett Favre: 175
Dan Marino: 169
Ben Roethlisberger: 160
Drew Brees: 153
Peyton Manning: 152
Philip Rivers: 142
Tom Brady: 115

Obviously, we have to take into account the era in which they played. So here are the INT% of the players compared to the league INT% over the time frame in which they threw those TDs. Sorted by highest percentage over average. I'll throw in Aaron Rodgers compared to the league as well at the bottom.

Tom Brady, League (2001-2011): 2.16%, 3.09% (30.0% better than average)
Fran Tarkenton, League (1961-1976): 3.90%, 5.49% (29.0% better than average)
Dan Marino, League (1983-1993): 3.09%, 3.88% (20.3% better than average)
John Elway, League (1983-1998): 3.11%, 3.65% (14.5% better than average)
Peyton Manning, League (1998-2007): 2.83%, 3.21% (11.9% better than average)
Drew Brees, League (2002-2012): 2.70%, 3.02% (10.8% better than average)
Philip Rivers, League (2006-2016): 2.63%, 2.78% (5.2% better than average)
Brett Favre, League (1992-2002): 3.11%, 3.27% (5.1% better than average)
Ben Roethlisberger, League (2004-2016): 2.70%, 2.83% (4.7% better than average)
Eli Manning, League (2004-2016): 3.15%, 2.83% (11.4% worse than average)

Aaron Rodgers, League (2008-2016): 1.54%, 2.70% (42.7% better than average)

A few flaws here in that all these guys (with the exception of Elway and Brady) did this mid-season and ended those seasons higher than 300. I made adjustments accordingly, but it would take a little longer to make it perfect. Marino for instance had 298 at the end of 1993, but I think instead of counting the entire 1994 season doesn't make sense when he achieved it in the first week.

Funny thing is, those are Brady's FIRST 300 TDs. If you look at his last 300 TDs (which obviously there is overlap, but it corresponds almost perfectly with Rodgers first 300), you see that he's thrown 73 INTs to Rodgers 72.

Not taking anything away from Rodgers because he is a great QB and better than any other with his legs and extending plays but he started after they enforced the no contact rule. Brady was the best all time before Peyton started crying at 2.8/1 td /int and since they enforced it he is 6/1. That's why I don't compare stats from different era's. Before Brady and Manning they used to muck the WR way more, not protect QB's at all. I look at full body of work and then it's my opinion. No GB fan would take Brady and no NE fan would take Rodgers, simple

LMAO

Always something with these guys

Holy cherry picking Batman. Tom Brady has 152 CAREER INTs:crazy:

Talk about a Rodgers ball washer. The dude must be looking for a date?
First Montana didn't even have 300 TDs.
Don't throw TBs stats in with hacks like Farve 339 INTs and PayAton 273 INTs And Marino 252 INTs just to get some clicks.

"Hacks"

Some of the greatest QB's of all time by any measure

"Hacks"

This is why we laugh at Brady ballwashers

Well the proof is there.
Brady from 2001-2006: INT% of 2.55
Brady from 2007-2016: INT% of 1.43

Well, he has spent a majority of his career throwing 5 yard slants to Welker and Edelman, his INT%'s should probably be better than most

Are you going to listen to facts to counter that, or would you prefer not to?

With due respect, Brady's career did overlap in a previous era (2000-2003) where passing was more difficult than it is now - which is the era Rodgers has enjoyed for his entire career. Then again, we are comparing Rodgers' entire career to that of Brady's 'last 300 TD's' which is more of his prime years.

Doesn't matter....Rodgers is still the better QB.

That Tom Bradys lone SB in the "Tougher Era", he only threw for 145 yards?

Did they remove the 2003 Super Bowl when Brady threw for 354 yards and set the record for most completions in a Super Bowl (8 more than any other winning QB)?

I don't know if anyone is comparing Brady's last 300 TDs. I threw that in there, but not sure anyone else was talking about that.

Brady has had some pretty damn good talent around him, despite his nut riders saying otherwise.
