Game 1 - Iwakuma (6-4 3.33 era) vs Correia (4-10 4.95 era)
Game 2 - Young (8-4 3.11 era) vs Hughes (8-5 3.95 era)
Game 3 - Elias (7-7 4.19 era) vs Gibson (7-7 4.17 era)
Game 4 - N/A (Mauer possibly?) vs Pino (0-2 4.98 era)

Looks like we'll have a couple real good evenly matched pitching match ups for games 2 and 3. Game 1 should be our easy win (but knowing the Ms we'll probably lose that and win the two tougher games)

Game 4 there's no pitcher listed yet so I'm thinking either Erasmo (please no) or Maurer (ehhh)

Twins are 3-10 in the last 13 games. Other then Hughes we should be able to handle these starters. Need to get the W tonight with Kuma on the mound vs a guy with a 5 ERA

Erasmo pitched yesterday so I dont see them bringing him back on 3 days rest when he is dicey anyway. Im curiuos to see what happens. If the bullpen isnt used much the 1st three games they could do a bullpen day and send Elias down after his start and bring up another reliever.

Kuma living lower in the zone is a good sign. He just elevated a fastball for a k but lately he's been hanging his splitter and getting hit.

Blowers mentioned maybe Leone starts game 4 and hopefully we get 4 or 5 innings. Not sure I like that more than bringing up a AAA guy for a spot start since we'll likely need the pen fresh for the A's

Man Zunino has some power. If he could just get a little more plate discipline he could be really special

Great at bat by Zunino!

Chased his typical slider away early then learned to spit on it. Fought off a tough fastball inside and got a pitch in the zone and crushed it. Love to see an at bat like that end that way.

watching pipsqueaks like ackley and miller coming to the plate after big, strong kids like seager and zunino makes me so sad. replace either of them with a real hitter and this team becomes a real contender, i think.

miller looks like he might fill out in the next couple of years, but ackley will always be, at best, a scrappy utility guy like bloomquist.

I love how much more comfortable Miller is looking at the plate now

Jared weaver had to leave the game in the 3rd with back issues. Sure would be nice of Toronto to take advantage of that bullpen and give us a game on the Angels tonight.

I like James Jones. He's fast as hell and if he could only hit the ball, this would help the M's too

I like Miller's build and power potential moving forward. His real issue is consistently making contact and plate discipline.

Ackley on the other hand...I like that he hits the ball hard when he does make contact, but is it me or are 90 % of the balls he hits hard ground balls? What I've noticed from Ackley is he always swings so hard (lol like with all his might) every time, but he has trouble centering up the ball.

You know how some really good avg hitters keep their eye on the ball even as they're in mid swing. To me it seems like Ackley swings blindly sometimes. He swings hard, but doesn't hit the ball in its sweet spot consistently.

Kuma is dealing right now. If we can find a way to get 3 runs it should be enough. Unfortunately the hitters seem to be as impatient as yesterday.

I REALIZE that. He needs to learn how to hit the ball. If he could hit, it would help the team
so you're an idiot

thanks
