z's views of ackley are myopic to say the least.

he can't hit, and he's not a legitimate major league outfielder. i don't know whose fault that is, and maybe another team will be able to develop him more, but it's a joke that he's an everyday outfielder.

holding onto both him and franklin is moronic. we won't get much in a trade for either, but something's got to give with this team if it wants to contend. god help us because i just don't see z being good enough to address hitting and outfield at the same time, which are the two biggest issues by far.

Was at the game today (Ms/Hawks fan recently moved to Chicago) and was a VERY nice day out for the game.

King Felix as usual looked good but I knew we were doomed of closing it out in the 10th when Ackley stepped up. *sigh*

Great win!!! after watching the first 3-4 innings I thought the Mariners were doomed. Felix would give up a late run and that would be that. Awesome comeback and battle in extra innings for the win.

Walker has almost no command and we're swinging at every piece of junk Noesi is throwing. This needs to change

I sat here and told my wife that Morrison has swung at the first pitch both times so here comes a pitch in the dirt. It was and he swung.

How dumb are these guys? We should have scored a run on walks alone that inning.
