Yep, that was bad. He's frustrating, but that doesn't change the fact that we don't have the guy everyone wants to solidify his replacement. Please don't suggest Cole Gillespie was some kind of great player we let get away either. He was a 30 year old career backup outfielder.

I'm not defending his failure there. I was yelling at him like everyone else, but until we trade for an upgrade (Viciedo) I don't have any more faith in anyone else in that spot.

Never said Gillespie was a great player. You asked for a guy who we could replace Ackley and Gillespie and all his faults was still as good if not better and was a RH to balance out this ridiculous lopsided lineup.
