I'm explaining to you that the M's we're playing well below .500 for a while but you should probably re read things in the morning.

Oh really... the M's "we're" playing under .500 for a while?

Do you not realize how silly that statement is, grammar-fuckup aside?

If a team is playing near .500 baseball for an entire season, from a practical standpoint, it is literally impossible for them not to play "under .500 baseball for a while".

Didn't get a chance to watch the game, boy was that a strange lineup though. I'm sure it has already been discussed, but why would McClendon bench Saunders and Jones? It appears to have been a nice win, but that lineup sure was bizarre and I'd like to know his rational behind it. There are so many things to nitpick at. Why would you have Zunino hitting 3rd?

Man Franklin is a disaster right now. Where are those people that were clamoring to bring him up because of his AAA batting average and the fact that "there is no way he is worse then Miller."

Since I am one of the first people to say "I told you so" I will say as one of those people who said exactly that there is no way Franklin could be worse than Miller, I was wrong. I just don't get it. I think Franklin has a lot of natural ability (as demonstrated by the stretch he had last year, and his impressive AAA stats) but he really needs to figure some of the more fundamental things out before he will become productive. Unfortunately, that is unlikely to happen with the Mariners. Get him some top tier coaching and I think he could develop into a special player.

I would bet that if Franklin were traded to a competent organization, he could become a 20HR 20SB guy.

Cute trying to cover your fuckup. They were at 26 and 26 a few days ago. That's .500. That's 52 games. There are 162 games in an MLB season. 1/4 of an MLB season is less than 52 games. But good job trying to mitigate your retarded claim.

Hey man, we are all on the same side here. Things on here can become heated, but no need for the personal attacks. :suds:

There's no way I predicted Franklin would be this bad but I knew he wouldnt make people forget about Miller. The organization doesnt trust him as a SS and it shows by him not getting a lot of time there even with Miller still struggling.

Like NW said, whatever trade value he had going into the year is likely shot with how things have gone down. I would say he should go back down and work on that swing but I dont even know who in Tacoma warrants a call up at this point. Thats a whole different problem though.

Lol Mariners baseball breeds a lot of frustration and heated discussions. Damn this baseball team!

I got auto-corrected on my Ipad. Sorry about the grammatical error.

A team can play below .500 ball for part of a season. Everyone talks about teams tanking at the end of the year all the time. Just because you can't understand that doesn't mean we're wrong.

I have a bad feeling about today's match up.

Elias's pitch sequences are too predictable. Once teams got a good scouting report on him they were able to take advantage of his fastballs (which he throws a lot, especially first pitches).

I hope I'm wrong, but I have a feeling that Detroit will feast on his fastballs. On the bright side at least Jones and Saunders is back in the lineup

Watching this game for sure, just to see how deep Scherzer can go without giving up a run.

Look at the difference between the M's lineup and an actual American League lineup.

Boy today would have been a really nice day to go to a game. Haven't gone to one yet this year, I think this may have been the longest I've gone without attending a Mariners game in years.

Good to see Miller hit that home run. Hopefully it'll do something for his confidence.

Elias trade value at an all time high. Trade him after the game for Cabrera...oh ya we already have Smoak at 1B.
