Why don't they just use Rizz?

Takes more talent to do radio broadcasting. More people watch TV, but otherwise I'm not sure.

Sims is so terrible, it's embarrassing he is employed by a major league franchise in a big market. Not only is Sims not entertaining, he makes routine mistakes that most fans wouldn't even make.

watching pipsqueaks like ackley and miller coming to the plate after big, strong kids like seager and zunino makes me so sad. replace either of them with a real hitter and this team becomes a real contender, i think.

miller looks like he might fill out in the next couple of years, but ackley will always be, at best, a scrappy utility guy like bloomquist.

Miller has picked it up and I think he has a future. Since June 1st, here are Miller's stats over 30 games:
.284/.339/.471 5 HR 13 RBI

He went on a very prolonged slump in 2014, but he looks as if he has regained the form we saw from him in 2013.

It's even sadder to think that despite looking terrible, Hart is probably still a better option because at least Hart has real potential and was actually once a feared hitter.

26 saves (Most in AL by 3) and a 2.04 ERA. Not sure how much more deserving you can be.

Got to tip your hat in a round-about sort of way to Erik Bedard. Yes, it was a shitty trade but he and Felix were real close and he taught a lot about pitching to Felix. Now everybody on our staff is developing a nasty change-up.

Agreed. It shouldn't be too hard since the Mariners are pretty flexible in what they can do.

They could go after a 1B and move Morrison to DH or the OF. They could get a OF and ship Ackley off. Or they could put whoever they trade for at DH.
