Feels like it was important to get this game today. Not necessarily expecting much on Monday so important to give ourselves a chance at a split.

I probably wouldn't mind if he was actually exciting or interesting to listen to, but he's boring as hell. It seems I'm alone in this, but I actually like listening to Rick Rizz a lot and wish they'd put him on TV and let Goldsmith handle the radio duties.

I personally feel that Rick Rizz is a great play-by-play guy and is really exciting to listen to, but I know there are a lot of people who don't like him.

On the topic of the game, Felix is on fire. 11Ks through 5 innings, wow.

Wow, I was very surprised to see Felix has no complete games since 2012. He's averaging around 7 IP per start this year too, though he was one out away from one about a week or two ago.

Congrats to Felix setting his career for high strikeouts in a game at 14 so far.

I love how Felix sets his career high in strikeouts in a game and there has been about 10 seconds of dead air.

If the Rays do pull out a win, that catch by Matt Joyce will have been the deciding factor. If Cano hits that ball an inch higher, the Mariners would have a considerable lead right now.
