Twins are over-achieving a bit so far this year. On paper, their roster doesn't look very intimidating. This is the type of team (like Houston and Miami) that has been kicking the Mariners' ass this year.

On paper you have to like the pitching matchups for the M's this series. They seem to have the advantage in every game. However we all know the tendency of getting shut down by no name pitchers all to well. I wouldn't be shocked if Kyle Gibson pitched like Bob Gibson tonight. Hopefully we can find away to get 4 runs in each game.

What's the deal with the Mariners this year, I was hoping to see them take a step forward and so far they have been a big disappointment.

Just finished watching the A's bludgeon the Indians 11-1. They're just a fun team to watch. The Angels have been fun to watch lately, too. Not sure their pitching will be able to keep it up.

I'd point the blame at pitching injuries and a lineup that only has one decent hitter in it.

Yeah, guess I expected more out of Seager and Ackley.

Ackley has been dog shit for more than 2 years.

Seager on track for similar numbers to his last couple of years. His BA will get back up to career avg, I'm pretty sure. He'll do better when he gets to a team run by professionals, I think, but probably won't ever be an all star or anything.

The last three years the offense has been built around hoping Smoak, Ackley and Saunders take the next step. They havent so the offense has been flat.

Saunders in scoring position. Hopefully Cano will earn his nice game check today.

Moved the runner over at least, I just have little faith in Corey Hart getting the job done.

Pops it up in the infield? Really...?

Hart is looking terrible this year.

Chased a ball at his shoulders while ahead in the count. Nice.
