There won't be chemistry issues with the "dubs". They have no bench, I see Iggy maybe produce once in a while but that's it. The key to the Warriors run last year was there bench production. I dont see it this year.

I don't know; I think Livinston, West, and Iggy will all contribute and McCaw likely can as well. I think protecting the rim will be a bigger issue, but the Warriors will still be okay. They just might need someone to take out the Spurs early.

There are a handful of teams that thrive on getting to the rim and have a handful of players that can get to the rim. The Spurs and Cavs have players and thrive on getting to the hoop and that is the Warriors toughest competition. Their team defense didn't look good and chemistry will be an issue for at least a bit. Turnovers was really the problem which should work itself out though.

Klay sure opening the season like a "superstar" in front of his home fans...Two points, zero rebounds, zero assists, GS trails by 18.
yah those preseason games really showed a light on how things would work come game 1....good ole preseason....

i mean- some teams dont even TRY in the preseason- they are developing rookies or instituting new systems- and in that same game maybe the other team IS trying and running their stuff. There is just no way to judge. I think NBA is by far the most worthless of all the different sports' preseasons....as long as no one gets hurt and the guys start getting in good physical condition- im good with the preseason.

Most of the stuff GS got "exposed" on last night will iron itself out pretty quickly I'd imagine. The rebounding is gonna be a problem though, Kerr will have to figure something out before too long.

All the talk of how 4 stars can't coexist, expected fights over who is 'the man'...

Not a chance, y'all. The team was already noted for their chemistry, how tight they were, no egos, all likeable guys who would go through walls for each other (including Draymond, especially him, if he's on your team you love him), for example Iguodala accepting the 'bench' role without a peep.

Now add KD, also known for an ego in check (almost to a fault). He's going to fit right in from day 1, this is a perfect spot for him.

The Warriors are NOT a team that will have chemistry problems :nono:

So the haters need to come up with something else, this one is done.
def.

put it to bed......

lets put these chemistry issues to bed guys ....cmon....

Are you going to comment in this thread after every game they lose?

Last night was not a chemistry issue. They were bad on defense, which is a legitimate concern. Defensive rotations were clearly lacking and they got destroyed on the boards. Offensively, they did not execute well, but this was mostly just a terrible shooting night which will happen from time to

I'm going to guess you saw none of the game. It had nothing to do with chemistry issues. I'm not even sure you know what chemistry issues means to be honest with you. It had to do with a bad shooting night and obviously they're having their issues on defense which they been dealing with all season due to losing Barnes and Bogut

Klay is off to a cold start for the season but he's getting plenty of open looks every night. Those shots will eventually fall. If I'm the Warriors, I'm not mad with the offense in terms of the looks they're getting. I would be annoyed with the turnovers though.

It is absolutely a coincidence.

Curry missed 4 or 5 completely unguarded 3s. He got 10 attempts, mostly good looks. HE would normally hit 3 on a bad shooting night.

If he were not getting shots or getting touches out of rhythm, you might have a point. THat is not what happened. He just missed.

Curry goes 0-10 from 3 on a bunch of quality/open looks and there's chemistry issues. Let's just completely ignore that Steph shot 12/24 from 3 in the previous 3 games.

You're just trolling. You act like he didn't have bad shooting nights before. It's the NBA. Bad shooting night happens to everyone. He had quality looks that he will likely hit in their next game. You expected this streak to last for the rest of his career?

Last season he had some bad shooting nights where he barely extended the streak by just hitting one three. This streak was obviously going to end. Heck against the Lakers last year in a game very similar to last night, he shot 1-10 in a lakers 17 point win. I'm sure it was due to chemistry issues.

the Warriors lost game 2 on Dec. 30 th last year

Curry fails to hit a 3 for the first time in 153 games.

Klay is shooting 19% from 3 when he shot 42% last year. Curry at 35% from 3.....coincedence....these guys fucking LOVE eachother. LOL.

all coincidence. They are fine. Nothing to see here. These chemistry issues? PUT TO BED over the summer.

and im not saying they dont figure it out- im saying the original post was beyond stupid--- and in fact- YOU AGREED!

tbh i'm thinking they PROBABLY won't but who's really gonna know 'til the games are played? but I tend to go along with what the OP thinks until proven otherwise...
I highly doubt they will be clicking on all cylinders from game 1. They have to get used to playing with KD. Knowing where he likes the ball and all that good stuff. I'm sorry but anytime you add a #1 to your team especially considering the core of this group been together for at least 4 years, there are chemistry things that needs to be worked on when adding a new player to the group. They just need to get used to playing with him and vice versa. They're chemistry in October/November won't be nearly as good as it will be in May & June

1) Who expected them to win 73+ games again? Most expect them to be in that 64-68 win range.

2) The Curry issue was already addressed. He had bad shooting games before. Quite a few them. He's actually pretty lucky that the streak went this long.

3) You're on crack if you think Klay is going to keep shooting under 20% from 3. Curry will shoot in the low to mid 40's he always does. Before his horrific shooting game last night, he was right at his traditional 43% 3 pt shooting.

4) There's only 76 games left in the season.....

You don't watch Warriors games. You go on espn.com, look at the box score, and make ridiculous assumptions. This is what you do. You admitted several times on here that you only watch cavs games but yet you think you can make judgments on teams based on a freaking box score.
