I agree besaesa. Jordon Hill should be in more often. He is a stud and may have saved this game!!

They left Kyle Kover open waaaayyyy to many times and it almost cost them the game. Off we go 2-2 on a three-game road trip.

I agree CL67 but the Lakers need to file this one away in their memory as to what not to do down the stretch. They did close it out-barely!

Gonna be a bumpy ride no doubt. The team is learning though. Close game at the end and they lose to the Spurs, this time they eke out the win. Hopefully, they continue to learn and improve.

That got way too close for comfort. Nice to see them pull this one out, unlike the San Antonio game. I like the move starting X and bringing Young off the bench. I think Young will be more effective as part of the bench mob and not having that scoring pressure of being a starter. Hill needs more playing time. Why does coach hate him so much?

I don't think D'Antoni hates him, I think he's unsure how to use him. He brings great energy, defense and rebounding, but he's not much of a threat offensively which allows teams to double off of him. His presence on the floor can slow offense even as it bolsters the defense.

As I've said, D'Antoni is still figuring out roatations. I'll give D'Antoni credit for this: once he put Hill in last night, he left him out there and his defense and rebounding was a big reason that the Lakers held on.

D'Antoni needs to figure it fast. Dude is ballin' hard to start the season. I would continue to bring him off the bench as the back-up center. He just deserves more playing time.
