D'Antoni needs to figure it fast. Dude is ballin' hard to start the season. I would continue to bring him off the bench as the back-up center. He just deserves more playing time.

I agree. D'Antoni's rotation is currently about 11 deep. That's great in theory, but very difficult in practice. I think he'll get it pared down to more of an 8-9 man rotation. I think that it's safe to say that if Hill keeps playing like he has, he will be a big part of that rotation.

Surprised no one's mentioned this before, but you and Lakersrule are right about expanding Hill's role and given him more minutes as as a backup center. Agree with you about your point about doubling off him, TF12. But athletically he's not going to slow this team down because he does have the ability to run the floor, and while undersized for a center at 6'10" he's still a very good rebounder because he scraps for all of 'em...

I'm with you guys. Give this man more minutes...

Don't get me wrong, I am 100% in the "the more Hill, the better" camp. I just understand why D'Antoni might have a little trouble finding the best spot in the rotation for him.

Personally, I think the starting lineup should be:

C - Pau
PF - Hill
SF - Henry
SG - Blake/Meeks
PG - Nash

I think Hill as a starter makes sense because his offense isn't needed and he provides great defense and energy. He and Henry in the starting lineup would pretty well guarantee that the Lakers come out with lots of energy every single game.

If there is any team that would take this guy and send a player of value in return, I don't know who that would be. Cuban in Dalla hates the Lakers so badly he might consider it but I doubt he would send anyone of value because of that hatred would not be surved adequately. Minnesota maybe. IS Toronto still in business? Maybe they would get a stiffy for this knucklehead. So we are most likely stuck with this stiff until his contract expires. What a waste of time and money.

Bone bruise in the knee for Hill. He's available to play tonight though. Hopefully this doesn't linger.

Yea Lakersrule. Hill has those skinny lower legs and he gets a whack from somebody, he ends up with a bone contusion (bone bruise). Let him sit for a couple of games and bring Sacre in who plays the game with just as much energy and he is a bigger body. WTH. Play everybody who isn't hurt. That is what this team is predicated on. It only serves to foster the great team chemistry already present.
