Kyrie Irving is a jerk

The Kyrie LeBron split reminds me of the Kobe Shaq split. Not the same but definitely in the ballpark.

There really are a lot of similarities.

In both situations, you had a young star being treated like "little brother" by a more established veteran star.

Both young guys initially accepted their roles, but then wanted more as they grew and got better.

The only real differences are that the Cavs were set up to be "Kyrie's team" when Lebron decided to return to Cleveland, while Kobe and Shaq joined forces in Kobe's rookie year.

Also, when Kobe was ready to take over leadership, it was actually time for Shaq to take a step back, that wasn't the case with Lebron.
