Just noticed your sig. Keith Whitley is under-rated. That is all.

I was actually crowned king of karaoke in Lexington, KY in 2016 when me and a group of buddies went there for the UGA-Kentucky game(Hot Rod Blankenship hit the game winning FG as time expired)

If he's picked round one, he can make more in five years than he can in baseball. If he's a star in baseball and has a long career, he can make more in the long run.

But I'm not sure he wants to ride buses to Hickory Rock, Slippery Rock and Hillbilly Hollar week after week for a couple years.

He is the perfect player for Kliffs system. If he doesn't like what he sees in Rosen(who doesn't fit his system) then he has trade value there. Crazy that OU could have back to back Heismans and back to back #1 picks.
And still 0 college football playoff wins

No comparison with bo. All star in both. Played in the nfl as an off season hobby

Not saying he is the next Bo Jackson. Just that is the better comparison. He is better at both than Brian Jordon was and a hell of lot better of a baseball player than Deion was.

Deion Sanders most certainly did not suck at baseball. The dude was a starting center fielder in the major leagues for the better part of 6 seasons.

Deion Sanders was a glorified base stealer. Wasn’t terrible but had he not been a novelty he wouldn’t have sniffed a starting job in the big leagues.

I think his monetary ceiling is higher in the NFL.

Well obviously if he stays in the A’s organization. He
If he can make it to the majors even as a mediocre starting pitcher then he could see a 100 million dollar career. Obviously getting there is a crapshoot.

Eh, with how baseball is going in terms of contracts and given he is a QB then it doesn’t seem like it is as far fetched to choose QB over baseball. If he were a WR or defensive back then I think most points would be valid. But him being a QB changes the equation from 99% of players who have been in his situation of choosing sports.

He essentially has to become a perennial all star in order to earn the same as he could by just ending up a backup QB.

1992 Deion had 92 hits while hitting .304 in 97 games and hit .533 in the World Series. Played pretty good CF/LF too. All while being a 1st team all pro at CB in the NFL the same year.

Kyler couldnt hold Primetime’s jock with 3 hands. If it wasn’t for current NFL QB money, Kyler would be riding a bus in the minors for a few years. So please just STFU already

That is not a factor. He spent his entire adult life in Norman traveling to Austin, Iowa City, Waco …

He had an .841 OPS in 1992. I have no doubt had he concentrated on baseball he would've been very good.

That's not true at all. You become a #3 or 4 starter for any time in the mlb and you are going to make 8 figures per year. That is far from needing to be a perennial all star.

Did somebody tell Drew Brees? :D
Hell, Brees AND QB on the team he will be playing against this Sunday will both have won Superbowls. And, the two of them went to the same HIGH SCHOOL! And that isn't even counting Mahomes, other QBs, RBs..........

Murray hasn't thrown an NFL pass yet!
