Fact is, it’s very likely that the draft bonus is the last big money he’ll ever get from baseball as it’s unlikely he’ll ever make the big show. Yep, if it's a purely economic decision, he will probably get more than the $4 million signing bonus he got from the A's if he is a first round NFL pick. But, I just don't see someone his size making it in the NFL.

You guys are nuts, he is getting ready to be the first ever to be a first round draft pick in both sports. Heard Aikman on yesterday talking about how the Kingsbury hire just seals it, the nfl has hijacked the college game. He doesn’t have to pay all the money back and baseball is still there for years. He doesn’t have to ride those minor league buses around for a couple years now, it’s a no brainer.

Gee, it’s Murray’s life, and he has a unique set of options no one of us has. When anyone in this thread has those options, I would care what they thought about it.
