Well...either Kyler is going to blow up some stereotypes about the QB position or reinforce them.

Seth Joyner (now that's a name from the past) was on the verge of histeria as they asked him about Kyler being a QB in the NFL.

It's a fun discussion for sure.
Here, here...:suds:

This hype train is getting out of hand. I just heard a guy state that Kyler Murray was the best football player to ever come out of Texas.

Play football in Stoolwater? BWA HA HA.

I have never stepped foot in the state of Oklahoma. I can't talk trash about a place I've never been. Let me tell you about ann arbor, MI though.

Who is the best?
Hell, there have been so many, that is hard to come up with. Murray hasn't played a single game in the NFL yet...so right now he's way behind Mahomes...much less Brees, Foles...even Mayfield and ..and that is just a few of the QBs. If he makes it int eh NFL and wins some superbowls, then he can be in the conversation with them. Hell, even your OU alum Adrian Peterson has a better case than Murray right now.

He is the perfect player for Kliffs system. If he doesn't like what he sees in Rosen(who doesn't fit his system) then he has trade value there. Crazy that OU could have back to back Heismans and back to back #1 picks.

I am not sure he is ready for the NFL. I saw him get fooled at times during the year, why I said I didn’t think he was Mayfield. Lot of that is probably experience. He hasn’t played a lot of QB. I think he would struggle in the NFL recognizing coverages

I love the kid but let's be honest; Kyler Murray would get eaten alive in the NFL. His decision making is not the greatest, he is too small and he would get broken like a chicken bone when some mean SOB eventually put a hit from hell on him. He's already made more money than a lot of people will make in their entire life so he just needs to take his time and work his way up to the Big Time. If he's really good it won't take long. His funky Daddy and Oh-So-Cool Mama might get off on seeing him play pro football but hopefully even they will see the light and encourage him to take the safer way to make a lot more money long term and not end up talking like Ernest P. Worrell from brain damage. "Hey, Vern, ya know what I mean?"

I can appreciate his desire to play football professionally, but I don't see it. I don't see him doing Lamar Jackson in the NFL, at 5-10, any better than Lamar Jackson is doing....which isn't going to be very well, moving forward. It does not take long for D-Coordinators to scheme against these guys.

I wish him the best no matter what he chooses.

But if he goes to the NFL, I just picture the RG3 trajectory. Starting out like a house on fire, but with his style of play and size, a major injury is not a matter of if, but when.

Just noticed your sig. Keith Whitley is under-rated. That is all.
