Lol. Didn't think so

Me neither. So you admit the Warriors are one of the best teams all time? But THE best, that's always up for debate. But what's not is them being in the conversation.

You are all over the place. As far as KD and the balance of the West, it's way unbalanced now with KD not on OKC. The Spurs have some older guys, but they are always around because they have Popp. not sure why they and Aldridge can't mesh. Kawhi was hurt last year so tough to say.

Warriors are one of the best teams of all time. Definitely loaded and play team bball.

We were all robbed of a good series last year in the WCF. I think all fans that follow the sport know that. The Spurs were going to win game 1 if Lawhi didn't get hurt. The warriors probably would've won the series, but it would've taken them 6 or 7 to do it.

Hey @Chrisper4Prez let's hear your take on why the Warriors aren't an all time great team...
Finally! I never said they weren't an all time great. The best players they have were drafted. Durant was the only player to sign to already bad ass team.

That Warriors team would be up there with Bulls. I'm sure you could tell the difference between them...

Kawhi can't do it by himself. Is Aldridge a factor?

There's a difference between "doing it by yourself" and being a huge reason behind a teams success.

Of course Kawhi can't do it by himself. No one can. If they could, guys like MJ, Kobe and Lebron would have even more rings.

But losing your best player isn't exactly a recipe for success. Especially when your team is the underdog to begin with.

No.

But they would easily have been top 10 without him.
I think they would still be in the discussion. In 15/16 they won 73 and went to game 7 of the finals with a beat up Curry, (essentially) no Bogut and (essentially) no Green.

No chance they go 16-1 without KD, but they would have had other strong pieces instead of him, so they still would have been the overwhelming favorite.

This guy is single handedly destroying the competitive product known as NBA basketball. The playoffs were by far the most boring and uneventful that I've ever seen.

1) everyone wanted him to go to the eastern conference, or that was the consensus seemingly. He joins the one team nobody ( except warriors fans) wanted him to join.

2) After the worst playoffs in forever, Durant takes a pay cut to keep the same team together that just rolled through the playoffs without any adversity.

I cant blame the guy for wanting to win, but a super team like golden state shouldn't have staying power. The CBA was constructed to encourage competitive balance and instead we are left with this monstrosity.

Basketball won't be fun to follow for the next few years folks.

The current CBA was constructed to make and save the owners more money.

Please, we need fans to be smarter and understand that the CB stuff is a complete myth to cover up real reasoning. The only one that has a legitimate CB claim, is the regional protection stuff they used to have.

Who are your top 5 great teams in the last 10 years? So starting with the 2006-2007 season?

My list would look like this.

1) 2016-2017 Warriors
2) 2007-2008 Celtics
3) 2012-2013 Heat
4) 2008-2009 Lakers
5) 2015-2016 Warriors

I'd take the 2014 Spurs over the Lakers, Celtics teams...

No, Durant winning a title really doesn't matter to me because of how he did it. Put him down for half a title at best. Just how I feel, it does not mean what it would have in OKC. Lebron chose to go be a sidekick as well but at least he didn't go to a team that could have won it without him.
He should've went to fucking Washington?:mad2::gaah::hurt::loco2:

I think the '08 Celtics, '09 Lakers and '13 Heat were all about the same. I put '12 ahead of '13 because '13 was when Wade started to fall off. He was still an MVP caliber player in '12.

12 Heat? You think they were better than the 66 win Heat in 2013? I think the 13 team was much better than that squad. I understand your reasoning. Wade wasn't a top player as he was in 11 and 12.

I do.

I am basing this exclusively off what I saw in the playoffs against quality opponents. They were very lucky to beat the Spurs in '13.

But then again, as I look back, perhaps I am overrating them too. I thought '13 was the year the Celtics took them to 7.

'17 Warriors is definitely the best I've seen in the post MJ era. It gets a bit muddled after that. '15 Warriors might have been the worst champ.

OKC could've definitely beaten the Warriors, though, at some point. Like when he was recruited to the Warriors, they were telling Durant that he might win 1 in OKC but with the Warriors he'd win every year. Durant didn't want Dirk's career so he sold out and made the smartest decision for himself. This idea that it was just the Spurs and Warriors competing is just wrong. OKC lost a year with Westbrook being out and another year with Durant being out. They were in the mix just like Dallas was with Dirk during his prime.

I barely watched the NBA last year. I have no team that I follow hardcore although I do root for the Grizzlies but the NBA needs some level of balance to keep its millennial and post millennial fanbase interested.

Nope. Pacers took them 7 in 13. I don't think they much trouble making the 2012 finals if Bosh didn't miss most of the 2nd round and ECF.
