Is Mitch Trubisky a Bust?

He had a good season last year. 67% completion %, 95+ rating.
I give him a little bit of a pass on last night.
I think he'll be a decent QB for several years.
But the "bust" is that he was taken with the 2nd overall pick. He's not living up to that spot yet. So currently he may be a bust.
If he can finish this season with similar numbers that he had last season, the Bears will be fine.

They will be fine but all they are really missing is a QB. I mean when you have this stout of a defense and HOF player like Mack...you want to win a SB. They won't if Mitch is just average to above average.

They took him with the 2nd overall pick. Based on what we have seen so far he has the potential to be a Ryan Leaf type bust.

Eh, not that bad. Leaf was arguably the worst QB in the league when he played.

Maybe more of a Blake Bortles/RG3 level bust. Those guys aren't great quarterbacks, but they could be a starter somewhere in a pinch.

I think it is too early to call him a bust since this is just his 3rd season but it is not looking good. The Packers do not have what I could consider a very good defense but the Bears made them look like one of the best defenses in the NFL. As a whole the Bears offense was/is horrible.

The Packers invested heavily in defense during free agency and I believe it's the real deal.

He has been up and down in different games. Thanks for straightening me out.
I also agree with the person who mentioned that he shouldn't have bee throwing so much. They only rushed the ball 12 times and Cohen didn't have a single carry.
