Ironically, RW has admitted to a lot of those 37 sacks in the first half being on him for holding onto the ball too long but the "RW is GOD" crowd will never take that into consideration... Realist saw RW, coaching staff, players make adjustments in the 2nd half, which led to fewer sacks... RW was getting rid of the ball much quicker, etc...

Well of course he's going to take the blame for the sacks. We are not talking about Cam Newton here.

Doesn't have to be one or the other. Line played better, AND Russ with the playcalling started trusting his receivers and getting rid of the ball much faster.

I can be a Wilson booster AND not want to sacrifice Bevell to the football gods.

At any rate, Boogie, supposedly great offensive minds like Holmgren would also make head scratching puzzling play calls (like the Mack Strong draw play on 3rd and anything over about 9 yards)

You're ALWAYS going to be able to criticize play-callers on a play by play basis, because play callers are by definition WRONG on play by play basis, (bases?) Plural of basis?

At best you hope that your playcaller is right more often than he's wrong.

Apparently the Seattle braintrust thinks Bevell fits this category.
