Kind of curious to see what " changes the coaching staff has been working on" per Coach Pete's comments on Monday at his weekly presser.
I know you can't change things in a week, but it would be interesting to see them come out in different formations and the routes some of these receivers are running...
I mean if you're going to tinker with the offense why not try it against a lower team.
At least I'm still capable of getting a chubbie
I'd be surprised if that's the case personally. The formations, routes, etc. are pretty similar to what we've been running since Chris Petersen took over, but obviously it's hard to tell with the camera angles we see.
Maybe it's just the football nerd in me but I really wish there was a way to watch the games with a camera angle that shows all 22 players on the field.
So am I ask your girlfriend, she says Im an animal!
Mid 50 and cameras up high and I would be in hog heaven all day watching games like that.
Yeah, there are quite a few people trying to pin this on Eason, but the common denominator for the continued lackluster offense is Petersen's OC's. Smith was bland/average at best and Hamden has been worse. If he doesn't do something this offseason I will lose my faith in his ability to lead as HC. The buck stops with him.So what now guys? I'm really flummoxed by this season. I think it's clear at this point that Hamden needs to be replaced and I will begin to have a serious lack of faith in Petersen if Hamden is not replaced and/or if his replacement is another lackluster hire.
If it were up to me, if Clay Helton gets fired at USC and his replacement brings in an entirely new group of coaches, I would push very, very hard to land Graham Harrell as offensive coordinator. Not sure who else is available, but Harrell has play calling experience and USC's offense has been pretty effective this year.

Another thing I was surprised by was how poorly the offensive line played. This is an experienced, talented group and they got absolutely dominated. I think the Huskies run a zone blocking scheme and when that happens I have to assume there is some issue with the coaching of the offensive line. Maybe @mcnabb7542 has some insights on how such a talented group played so poorly against vastly inferior competition. Doesn't make sense to me.
Of course there is. There’s no natural leaders as far as I can tell, it sure as fuck isn’t their quarterback. Also am I the only one who feels like on both sides of the ball there is a lack of spark? A lack of passion? The team I watched last night looked like the equivalent of a disinterested employee who shows up to work and just goes through the motions to collect a paycheck without putting in any extra effort or passion.

Add on the season has pretty much hit full downward spiral mode, makes sense they seem to have checked out.
Yeah. It sucks.I just worry about the long term implications of them checking out. It's concerning that after two close losses to good teams (Oregon and Utah) they have seemingly just given up. I'd feel better about this season if I had the impression that there was some modicum of resilience and making the best of every opportunity, but I don't see that personally.
