In fairness, it is his first chance to play WR with an NFL QB.

In all fairness, we have seen Sims for a few years now. He has played with NFL QB's. Heck, let's not underestimate how good any QB drafted into the NFL really is regardless of whether they are a starter or not. These guys are better than your college QB who didn't make an NFL roster. They are ALL better than we give them credit for. Sims has not been good enough to get on the field. Let's not kid ourselves, if we had real #2 WR Sims wouldn't be on the field now but, I'm glad he is getting some run, he deserves the opportunity to showcase what he has learned the past few seasons.

Sometimes guys shine but are never given a chance in the game. Some coaches don’t see a player, they see a draft or name status. Has any other WR on this roster had a 100 yard game this season, or even came close? Why did it take so long for Sims to get an opportunity?

Great question GK because this staff/injuries gave him this opportunity. The last staff never gave him that opportunity.

ok after watching the presser it seems that the issue with the run defense is falling on the LBS according to RR . the d/line is doing their job at the LOS

That's interesting indeed and from reading posts here. It sounds like that didn't sparkle with Jack Del Rio.

I’d agree with this based on the eyeball test. Then again, with 3 interceptions...that’s like asking Mrs Lincoln how the play was.
