I'm honestly not sure! There are coaches that bring players to task for not being where they should be even if the play is on the other side of the field. TBH, playing their assignment is ok, but it limits players from reading and reacting to the play at the moment. I personally want guys to play on instinct and what they see. On that particular play one of those linebackers should have introduced himself to the QB.
