I don't have a problem with that this play by Young. One of his responsibilities is to protect the edge. Without being blocked he was in FAST but saw the player coming around and protected against that. If he tackles Jones who has handed off that play may break for a long gain.

How do you account for his errors on the field then? Missed assignments and pass blocking? Or the constant refrain from coaching staff that they don’t want to overload or overwhelm the rookie?
