How do you account for his errors on the field then? Missed assignments and pass blocking? Or the constant refrain from coaching staff that they don’t want to overload or overwhelm the rookie?

Coach him up! Look, rookies are going to make mistakes and obviously take on a much larger playbook and assignments than what they did in college. How do you correct those mistakes, missed assignments, missed opportunities with inside run lanes and poor pass pro. Coach him up, rinse, wash, repeat but do not continue to minimize his role. Next thing you know, we are going to bench the guy, lol. Just kidding.

Honestly I blame this on Turner, who has disappointed me with his O and emphasis on pass catching vs running the damn ball. I’m still not a fan of this ‘system’ of his that has yet to score 30 damn points.

ok after watching the presser it seems that the issue with the run defense is falling on the LBS according to RR . the d/line is doing their job at the LOS

i will say this , he is running his offense and maybe he doesnt have the guys he wants yet or he is seeing what our guys can do . this is an evaluation year and we dont have 30 point a game talent on this offense

now to be fair turner could simply suck as well

Still have the horses. We do not have one LBer we can say is good. Or the only good one is 184 years old. There are a couple with potential but I have not seen a great LBer yet.
