You have never answered the question directly.
You have twisted and turned. I cannot make it simpler for you. Direct question - direct answer.

I told you...
The judge would say “Indeed you 100% did sign a 4 year contract because contractually you are forced to”. How ever the cap rules say the team has the right to later extend the 4 year contract or just keep it at the original 4 years. Year team choose to extend the 4 year contract so you do have to play a 5th year”

No, not in my world. He signed a four year contract. You’re the one who tries to change the length of contracts, not me. I never even claimed that. I call a 4 year contract a 4 year contract. You’re the one who arbitrarily changes the years, not me.

Don't have to change anything - it's already in the contract.

They have to let them know it’s being extended. If they say absolutely nothing it stays as the original 4 year deal. They didn’t shorten anything

A prudent judge would say the player is obligated to play the 5th year.
A prudent judge would call you a moron and sentence you for being too stupid for his courtroom.....

it isnt an extension. It is already included.
If it were an extension it would need more signatures, since the contract is being altered.
A contract with an option included. Is already included in the contract. the one contract.
Extensions & Options are two different things.

Fine... “they pick up the option”. That doesn’t make it a 5 year contract. It’s a 4 year contract with an option. It’s not a 5 year contract with an option to shorten it to 4. It’s a 4 year contract with the option to change it to 5

Again, they don't have to change anything - it's in the contract!

And a prudent judge would also say it’s a 4 year contract because that is what the contractual agreement says they must sign “A 4 year contract”

but you just said the cowboys had a 4 year contract with T-rex.
then they decided to decline the option cutting him loose after 2 years. You just said that was a 4 year contract.

It’s in the league rules that the teams have the option to change the original 4 year deal. An option is not a 5 year contract

To be honest I don’t know what he signed for with his new deal.

So what is it if they don’t use the option. I mean this is all so fucking stupid because the damn agreement says they have to sign a 4 year deal. Why do you get to change the contractual agreement. It’s because a 4 year contract with an option is not a 5 year contract.
