Besides Foles, Brandon Graham will be the biggest loss, but he is going to want more than the Eagles can afford.
Fuck ‘em!

I think its average of top 10... roughly $30M
Without Foles they are 7M under with I believe 42 on the roster. I understand cutting Peter's and a few others for cap space, but unless you hit big in the draft and find a few low/mid level FA's that play above their contracts, the team will be thin. If all works out this off season, the team is right back in the same situation pre 2020. I'm not saying they are fucked, but the talent evaluation better be top notch with almost no misses.$7M under when they don't pick up Foles option... still too tight for the guys they have to sign. Get another 8M back if they move on from Peters. 6.5M back if Kelce retires.
They'll be fine.
Not at all seeing you never did the first time. So much built up hostility.Do you need me to explain what a 5th year option is again?
All you need to do is read over the cap. He basically copied it verbatim. A genius he is not. Like many Philidiots he says they'll be fine in one post, while the next post he says they can't keep Foles or Graham. Guys like Kelce and Peters may be gone... They have 3 picks in the first 3 rounds. 9 total as it stands today. There is no mention how they will absorb those rookie contracts...That I didn’t know. I thought the number was built into the contract (ie a much lower agreed upon number). I didn’t know it was based upon the above.
Howie can spend $. A talent evaluator he is not. Better hope those scouts earn their pay. I see Philly back in their rightful place of mediocracy.Without Foles they are 7M under with I believe 42 on the roster. This thread has really lost some steam.
Wow those fical Philly fans lost faith and jumped off the bandwagon quicker than anticipated.Ahem.
So I see the usual Foles Butt Boys are still claiming he's Joe Montana even after that dismal playoff performance. It really was only a matter of time before he reverted to, well, Nick Foles.
Up 14-0 and lost 20-14. Only reason they remained in the game was penalties on the Saints. That was not a good playoff performance but I hardly expect you or the others to admit it.Derp
from foles?Up 14-0 and lost 20-14. Only reason they remained in the game was penalties on the Saints. That was not a good playoff performance but I hardly expect you or the others to admit it.
from foles?
he came out smoking you cant deny that had like a 150 and pass td, then a rush td early. had great numbers going into half time. THen the saints had a 12 minute drive in the second half. that kinda took the ball out of their hands. and limited oppertunities.
I still say after watching the first pick ertz f'd up, and could of made a better effort to break that up, and didnt position himself well. But regardless, it was a pick.
Also the pick at the end of the game was right in the bread basket, jefrrey let him down. So to me things got skewed negatively for him. Did he play the best game, no, but against the saints in the dome, I think he played damn well.
Jeffrey doesnt drop that, even with the ertz pick, and the saints chewing up clock you have a shade under 2 min left and your deep in saints territory....
I dont expect you to admit that as well, just to look at a box score

Do you think Foles would have finished that last drive had Jeffries not muffed the catch? I hardly expect you to admit that Eagles had the momentum on that drive and would have likely won by 1 point
Oh like everyone else I totally expected the Eagles to win the game at the end, with the missed FG they had great field position and clearly the momentum. And I felt it was undeserved and a result of constant flags on NO more than what Nick Foles had done.
So much for your theory that I would never admit Philly had the momentum. Why would I do that when it was obvious?
I’ll respect that opinion. Sorry only glanced at your reply and fired off. But yeah that’s about right.Oh I looked at the box score. Obviously the last pick was not on him but the line still reads 18/31, 201 yards, QBR of 49.6. 201 yards and zero points after that hot start? Sure he came out smoking but the last time I checked a game is 4 quarters, not 1. The Saints did control the ball but Foles still have many opportunities to move the team and put up points.
Not saying he was terrible, just once again cautioning folks to pump the breaks a bit on this guy.
Do you think Redskins make a run at Foles since Smith's career is likely over?
