Hahaha
They did not. However, they also were not virtually eliminated from the playoffs either.
i hate that by the way. "asking for a friend" i see that popping up now on boards, is that the new douchey thing to say?

Just look at what they have paid to players no longer on the team for the last few seasons, for one. And why field the mediocre (at best) receivers over the past few seasons (before this season's Cooper trade). All - in part - a direct result of cap mismanagement. Of course it does not come close to the disaster Washington has regularly, but still.
As they are, they might be OK with the cap (with some of - for instance - Romo's money coming of the books) now. That was not the case a few seasons ago.
What FA WR's should they have gone after and were unable to?
I see you are quick to throw shit at Dallas over their handling of the cap even though it hasn't hampered our ability to get players we need, while saying the Eagles have done well in that department.
I can tell you our cap situation is LIGHT YEARS better than Philly's, so stop homering the fuck out of the board, sir.

Pretty much. Pe1 is the gift that keeps on giving.I'm over a 100 pages back and haven't looked at this thread in a long time. But, I just want to point out that this is now the #2 most replied to thread on the NFL Board to the Tom Brady Super Thread.
Is it Still the same content and posters?
You're wrong. The Eagles will just cut about 10 players and easily draft all their replacements and they are golden.

Just releasing Foles after this season would put the Eagles back under the projected 2019 cap.
A total of 8 players released, would free up over $56 million in cap space. Some of them are likely to be released, others are not. The truly big magic act Roseman has to pull off is Carson Wentz' most likely contract, fitting that under the cap, and not gut the team in the process.
The draft WILL have to make up for some of it (which will be difficult).
One thing many Eagle fans are somehow ignoring is, the Eagles will be over the cap with only 44 on the roster. So yes Foles gets you all under, but then you need to add 10 players to get to 53. That will take additional cuts to gain cap space, to sign those p look players. Keep on mind every cap casualty will have to be replaced with a lower tier lower priced player. The Eagles could have 20 new faces next season.
Nah thats Rams from what ive readingBut they will still be a dynasty for the next 15 years!!!!!!!

Well they do have the Greatest Cap manager in the NFL.
Carrying Foles this year was a major blunder given that they were blindly committed to Wentz. First, they could have traded him for future young talent and second
that was a big cap hit for a guy to hold a clip board.
Howie the genius fucked that one up.
It wasn't him, it was the weather as it hacked his hoop account.
