I agree it’s bush league and the Cowboys proved they are the better team but those were two incredibly bad calls. That fumble was 100% ours. The fucking guy was running around with the ball and you can see it in the Eagles hands on the ground on the replay.

I agree there were horrible calls that went against the eagles. But I literally was laughing when the Cowboys had a penalty for sacking the QB LOL. Is that a thing now. It is like the Refs are just inventing penalties now.

A penalty like that - against the Eagles - was a major part of the outcome in their loss against Minnesota. And frankly, the one against Bennett was even worse than this BS call against Gregory (as Bennett hit Cousins in the thigh, then slid down, while Gregory never came above the knee.

Basically a make-up call, I would guess, for the BS call just a play before.

And to suggest that the impact of the bad calls in this game was even close to being equal is an idiot.

- Turnover in the Red Zone negated (could have seen the Eagles up 3-0 or 7-0 (the 3-0 more likely).
- The phantom OPI on Goedert (especially egregious considering they allowed Cooper to ragg-doll Jones), not only negating a TD, but which probably cost the Eagles a possession at the very end of the game.

Nothing called against the Cowboys came close to having a similar impact on the game as those two calls did.

Someone in an other article made the comparison with a couple of NBA refs, notorious for favouring one team with high impact calls, but then giving plenty of lesser make-up calls on the other side to make it show up 'even' on the stat sheet in the end.


And for the record, the Eagles offense was atrocious for most of the game.

You are obviously new to this thread. For your information, the eagles don’t have cap issues (some eagles fans have solved them right here) and Howie the GM is a magician with the numbers!!
