How long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles?

It really isn’t light years ahead even though at a quick glance it seems like it. We have a lot more older players making big money. Once Dallas gives (In the next 20 months)...
Dak 150,000,000
Lawrence 125,000,000
Zeke 75,000,000
B Jones 75,000,000
A Cooper $80,000,000

Then you’ll be where Philly is at now. 1/2 billion coming up in the next 20 months

So we will just make Dak the highest paid QB, Zeke the highest paid RB, DLaw the highest paid edge rusher, Byron the highest paid CB, and Cooper a top 5 paid WR? (all of those assuming 5 year contracts and looking at AAV's of current top players at each position)

Nah, we don't have idiots running our front offices under the guise of "smartest cap genius EVAR".

A major blunder? He had no way to tell when Wentz was coming back. Some said early some said by November. He’s a top notch backup. What was he supposed to do... put the entire season on Sudfeld?

So he held on to the guy that supposedly could net a 1st rounder and paid him $20M to get you a couple of wins and help you miss the playoffs.

Not just any average cap guy could pull off a miraculous play like that. Takes a real GENIUS.

That’s just the going rate. I don’t know why Cowboy fans can’t give an inch. Everything Philly sucks. Not even their GM is good at handling cap issues according to you guys? Wentz will get 200 million but yes... those are the numbers they’ll probably get.

And if Dak is going to cost us $150M then Carson must be thinking $250M. Have fun with that!

Well, philly does stupid crap like giving $20M to a backup QB in case you "need him a few games" and ends up having to cut starters because of it. Last offseason was a cakewalk compared to what you will go through this year.

And no one is asking for you to give an inch, just want all the Eagle fans talking shit about Dallas being in cap hell to STFU until your own house is in order.

Did he know before the season they’d be gutted by injury? Did they know when Wentz was coming back? They were offered a high 2nd but couldn’t start the season with Sudfeld possibly playing 8 or more games. Why is it so hard to accept that’s what he’s known as... a cap guru? What’s the big issue... or is it you can’t give Philly an inch?
And I think he’s getting 14 mill now and a 20 mill voidable contract next year. They had to reward a guy that helped get you your first SB

Everyone in Philly was saying Wentz would be back game 1, then it became "after a few games". $20M is too much for a few games. But i love the revisionist history. Everything from the philly homers here were "wentz is ready in teh preseason", now you say it could have been up to 8 games? Please

And NO, Foles has a guaranteed 20M next year in base salary. He can be cut pre-june 1 and only cost 1.8m in cap space. Which is what you will do. So will have paid almost 10M for 2 wins.

But this contract was looooong before they knew when Wentz would be ready. That’s where you’re mistaken. Back then no one knew when he’d be ready. You starting a season with Sudfeld leading a SN team when you don’t know when your QBs ready???

Lots. Dallas will be fine... Philly will be too (money wise). I’m not saying Dallas is in trouble. They just have a bunch of big time contracts coming but they’ll be fine.

So the Sunday Ticket that you paid extra for acted up for you but not others in the Phoenix area?
In glad I didn't waste my money like you did.

Let me explain it again. If you have a dish there were no problems. I stream it through my wireless internet and the internet connection was acting up. Do you understand now. It has nothing to do with weather, people in my area... it was my personal internet connection and off course the only time it acts up is during a great 2nd half of a great game. Get it?

What’s the difference if they had done that?

I dropped the Wentz debate cause you said you were trolling and joking and know Wentz is better. I have to keep a fake argument going when we know the answer?

They were taking offers for Foles in March, saying Wentz would be ready for the opener in March, and signed Foles to his extension at the end of April.

It's not my timeline that is mistaken.

March 05:
Eagles are confident Carson Wentz will be ready to play Week 1

April 21:
Source: Nick Foles agrees to restructured contract with Eagles

You’re kidding. You’re fucking kidding. This is the 3rd time I brought that up. Can’t you read my posts? You admitted you were trolling and joking. I can’t do this anymore
