HBK vs Hogan Summerslam 05

Along getting the opportunity into the insight of the streak ending. I also got the opportunity to speak with this individual about more insights into the WWE.

The conversation got into Cena not selling, which led to Hogan and that lead to the infamous HBK vs Hogan match at Summerslam.

Absolutely hilarious match because HBK oversells EVERYTHING. There are two reasons for this, 1.) because Hogan is notorious for no selling. and 2.) HBK was suppose to win this match, but in Hogan's contract, similar to WCW he got final word on saying who wins or loses in his matches and the last minute he refused to lose to HBK. resulting in oneo f the greatest mockeries of WWE.

His matches with Taker at Mania were amazing. Also him vs Bret in an iron man match was good too. But my favorite was him vs HHH at Royal Rumble 04

Yeah also HBK vs Razor Ramon, that was revolutionary.

The ladder match vs Razor Ramon at WM X was a classic. As a Hulkmania era kid I was into the over-the-top theatrics at the time. Between the ladder match and Bret/Owen putting on a technical classic that WM was when I learned to appreciate how great in ring matches can be..

I know Micheals is considered the GOAT (and rightfully so) but I still think Bret put on my favorite matches in general. It sucks they hated each other so much because if those two were on the same page they could have had the best rivalry ever.
