Hopefully Gronk will have a Edelman type season. Edelman never had a healthy season until last year. Gronk played all 16 games in 2011 but as you'll recall, injuired his ankle against the Ravens in the playoffs.

Oh hell yeah! In the games he played last year the Pats were the number 1 offense. Without him they were about in the middle.

My bad. Gronk played all 16 games his first two seasons. I think most of us forget this.

Looks like K. Thompkins will be benefitting from this. According to reports, he was looking good in OTA's, hope it carries over to training camp and the season. Also Boyce, hopefully he can be a bigger factor this year. Need them all, and at least one step up to take heat off of Gronk and Edleman.

Brady stated yesterday that Thompkins and Boyce were very impressive. He said that he confidence in Thompkins and it showed when Thompkins made a full body dive for a TD at the back corner of the endzone. According to the Boston Herald, Brady started looking for Thompkins and Thompkins was responding.

Gallon is on the PUP and that's not good for a 5'8" WR who hasn't shown much when he was practicing at the OTAs.

Word out there today is that the Patriots may well carry six WR into the season.

You crack me up. What TE corps? There is Gronk and that is it. If he's on the field....I agree. He's a beast. No one is better.

Hopefully Gronk starts week 1 and plays all 16 and the entire playoffs. I'm worried going forward about him staying healthy...you just hope he can.

I'm not worried about Gronk's injuries. I AM worried about his knees. He said he will "not change the way he plays" If he does not learn to take the weight off his knees before a hit, he could be taken out. It is much like the way a second baseman takes the weight off before a runner slides in to 2nd.
If he does learn, he's a big strong guy and he'll make the defense miserable.

I'm hoping the rest of the offense is good enough that Brady doesn't have to target Gronk on every other throw. This will save on wear and tear and also allow him to get back to 100%
