If this is true, he just became my #1 target. I know what the injuries have done, and I sure wouldnt give him any big $ or term, but what a high upside there. This guy can be a point per game player on a good line easy. He absolutely destroyed the sharks when in the lineup, and is a really really good player. He's only 24, too. Obviously concussion injuries are really tough, but people have had them and they have come back to be effective. Im trying to remember who it was that missed a whole year with concussion problems but came back as was awesome last year. it wasnt gagne or sid the kid... argh...

Depending on what he'd take, I'd be fine giving him 1 yr, 2M. if it works out, you have a lefgit top 6 forward and a 25 year old you can begin to rebuild around. If it doesn't, you get he cap relief on LTIR anyway and it just cost the owners a couple mil.

I don't want any part of Mueller. Along with the injury issue he doesn't set skate in the defensive zone, he can't skate more than 15 seconds without being completely winded, and he's softer than wet toilet paper.

It'd be nice if braun can come in a bit lower, like 1.3 per. I would expect desi to be 700k or so. wingels at 775k per is fine. I wouldnt call it a steal just yet. It certainly could be one, but 9 career NHL points, doesnt exactly warrant a big money deal.

Im happy that so many of you are so bullish on him, but I am still skeptical. This is a good deal for dougie because if he is just another torrey mitchell, the it's fine.

The key is going to the UFA market. No doubt dougie has to show that market for a 3rd line, so I would expect July 1st to have some shark news. I just pray its not something like Travis Moen for 3M and Moore for 2M. I'd be devastated to have another offseason like the last ones with good players like White signing for pretty little and the same money going to junk like zues and wallin. Dougie needs to make very smart signings this year to give the sharks even a prayer to be a contender next year.

Love the term on Braun. I see him as a solid #4-#5 with upside so anything less than $2 cap hit would be a very good signing.
