Ha...Odd isn't it? No one knew about Zappe and now the Saints, Dolphins and Seahawks are calling Bill about a trade when Mac comes back.
Would you trade him for a first or second in 2023?
Hell no.
I still question if the game hasn't moved past BB offensively. But time will tell. He does have a history of proving me wrong.
Ha...
I would play Zappe until he starts to falter.
If he doesn't, I would trade Mac for a 1st, hell yes.
But it never stops other teams from asking. Especially if they see something they like. Then again, they make stupid offers and get rejected out f hand. With Mac and Hoyer down I cannot see BB entertaining a QB trade/
Exactly and why I was pointing out I think BB knows that performance came against the worst defense in the NFL supported by a strong run game.So... Mac Jones leads us to the playoffs last year after missing the playoffs the year previous. He was a Pro Bowl alternate. Was the best Rookie QB in what most experts felt was maybe the best QB class ever. Has a rough start this year with interceptions and you want to trade him because Zappe had an ok game against the worst defense in the NFL. It wasn't a great game. It was a good game. I will take Mac thank you.

One thing I have noted about Pats fans there are some fickle fuckers. You are probably totally correct in your belief that Mac is the better QB. And you are also correct about the Lion's D. And we did only score one TD on offense. And while I'm not one of the one's suggesting we trade Mac I will say that I really liked what I saw from Zappe in preseason and have thought that he just had a really good awareness and feel for the field. Just my incredibly inexperienced view from the cheap seats but I really like Zappe so far and I am starting to wonder about Mac's long term effectiveness. I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

And you cocksuckers know who you are!!!
You should never assume anything from anything I type. If it strikes a nerve with someone well, mehhh, I guess the proof is in the pudding.Since you quoted me should I assume you're calling a fickle fucker and cocksucker?
Not sure why you'd call me a fickle fucker. I never expressed any loyalty to Mac other than if he's our QB I'm rooting for him.
And cocksucker? Really?
I know. Double edged sword.I could be totally wrong here but I just get this weird feeling that Mac is going to be one of those injury prone QB's. Zappe needs to keep working his ass off and wait for his opportunity if Mac takes the gig back.
I could be wrong about this too but I'm not sure that Mac brings a first round pick, unless he turns his season around, in which case we don't trade him.

Neither has shown much yet. Both will be better "next year"Pierre Strong and/or Kevin Harris get a crack this week? Any idea who the next man up is?
Hopefully Damien returns sooner than later but we did draft a couple of backs with upside.

I would really like to see what Strong can do.Tom Pelissero

#Patriots RB Damien Harris is likely to miss multiple games because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday's win over the #Lions, per source. Still getting tests, but the expectation is he'll be out for a bit.
