Right. But that is different then top talent...

I mean would you currently call Jameis Winston an elite NFL QB? I wouldn't. He has the potential to be one.

Maybe this is
Broncos and Lang meeting cancelled

Interesting - between Lang and Leary - Lang the better pass blocker - and Leary the better run blocker. They Broncos signed the run blocker. I real sign as to where the Broncos are going on the oline.

Is this good or more like a Stephenson type player where he was very up and down?

Much better then Stephenson. Durability is an issue. Good player when healthy. Signing that needed to be done.

Look on the bright side. We signed two OL from perhaps the top two OL teams last year.

Cowboys and Raiders

If Watson stays healthy - good move - if not - then not a good move. This is the kind of play you make when you figure to draft some guys who need time to work themselves into the starting lineup.

Move we had to take a chance on. Solid player when healthy at least.

Dolphins- Nate Allen
Vikings- Mike Remmers

Raiders visiting with Cordalle Patterson who I thought we might show interest in as a return man.

Anyone know the guaranteed money on Watson? Any news of the Broncos talking to Beacham?

Watson also wears the same # as Donald Stephenson.

Nothing on Beachum.

Watson 3 year 18.3 mil. . Not a bad deal.

Beachum did play pretty poor last year after coming off his concussion. A low deal would be fine by me though.

Pats swap picks and pick up Kony Ealy. Seems like the Pats are playing chess and the rest of the league is playing checkers.

Denver can swap 2nd round picks with Dallas and get Romo?

I heard that draft pick swap for Romo notion mentioned on the radio yesterday. Could be a "meet in the middle" option for the Broncos and Jerry.

But if we trade for Romo aren't we stuck with his contract? I thought the point was to have Dallas stuck with the guarantee they agreed with on his contract and then we would be able to sign him to a new, more affordable, contract. Am I wrong? Again?

Good point. I think you're right, so I therefore withdraw my comment on the aforementioned notion.

I think his guaranteed money is paid for by Dallas. His salary would have to fit under Denver's salary cap at hte time of the trade but then they can renegotiate but Romo would hold the leverage since he has a contract .IT would have to be a wink wink between Denver and Romo before a trade happens.

Okay, maybe I can still stand behind my earlier comment on the notion. I wish you guys would figure this all out and educate me. I feel like I'm in a tennis match and my head is about to explode.
