Anyone's team have any DTs they want to trade? Asking for a friend
Hmmm, maybe, maybe not. I kinda draw the line when it comes to draft picks, where I feel Rounds 1-3 should either be potential starters or immediate subs. Rouds 4-7 are more expendable - not that you can't find some real gems in these rounds. The NFL is chock full of such players, not to mention some very talented UDFAs out there. But it's these later rounds where I'm more than willing to trade for even a rental. I'm not too keen on trading any of the first 3 rounds on such. That's why I wasn't bummed at all that we didn't land Judon. He fits better with Atlanta anywway, where they're going for the NFCS title and hopefully for them a deep run in the playoffs. I think my Bears are still at least a year away from that.
You get a year out of him for a 3rd and it's still worth it. Unfortunately he makes more than the veteran minimum so the Cowboys weren't interested
No surprise to me. I don't care if Boston Scott and Ronnie Rivers were listed as #3 and #4 on any unofficial depth chart. Zach Evans played RB in the 1st half of all 3 preseason games and massively outplayed both of those 'later-in-games' RBs. Not to say it hasn't happened but I can't remember an example where the Rams cut a guy playing at the start of preseason games for a guy playing late in the 2nd half. Evans is clearly the #3 RB on the Rams roster. I hope Xavier Smith becomes an example of such a 'late-in-games' phenomena at #6 WR this year over Tyler Johnson, but I don't expect it to happen.
Line still at Cle -2.5 after Chubb officially out and Lamb signing. I guess both expected
Lamb is a top 5 receiver and I never had any doubt he would get paid. I don't understand why Jerry let it drag out so long to be honest. The whole complexion of the WR market changed dramatically this off season.
Because no one can do it better than Jerry. Just ask him...Lamb is a top 5 receiver and I never had any doubt he would get paid. I don't understand why Jerry let it drag out so long to be honest.
This seems like the offseason where receivers flexed their muscle and said, this is a passing league and you need us so pay us. It's kind of the opposite of the running backs don't matter trend, which may have peaked at this point.
I'm sorry fellas. Just hope you outlive the man.Because no one can do it better than Jerry. Just ask him...
That didn't last long
I had to do a double take because I was positive that Gilmore wasn't on the LionsPretty sure that isnt who you think it is.
The Vikes signed StePHOn Gilmore. The Lions had a guy named SteVEn Gilmore on their roster they signed as an undrafted FA.
