Thought he had a pro future when I saw him at ND. Seems like an uncoachable weirdoChase Claypool was released by the Bills after reaching an injury settlement. Next stop......the CFL or UFL next spring after the NFL season ends.
LOL.
I think this discounts how terrible Arthur Smith was. Roster is way more talented than it appeared.Better slow your roll on the Falcons. They won't even make the playoffs. The Bucs still own the south.
Absolutely, Arthur Smith is a dipshit and a terrible coach, he didn’t know how to use their talent at all. And the QB play the last 2 years was fucking dismal, Mariota/Ridder/Heinicke are just not starting QB caliber players. Now that we have a good QB and Arthur Smith is gone, we will be much improved.I think this discounts how terrible Arthur Smith was. Roster is way more talented than it appeared.
That's his new saying all the sudden.....obsessed maybe?Interesting. Did u check?
He had 2 pretty solid seasons with the Steelers before things went sideways there and he started bouncing around the League.Thought he had a pro future when I saw him at ND. Seems like an uncoachable weirdo
QB play matters.....if Smith had a legit QB he still might be coaching there.Absolutely, Arthur Smith is a dipshit and a terrible coach, he didn’t know how to use their talent at all. The QB does not put a priority on Jonnu Smith and Allgier over Pitts and Bijan. Smith had an absolute obsessions with drawing up plays for his solid players and ignoring his stars.QB play matters.....if Smith had a legit QB he still might be coaching there.
Um, Pitts had 90 targets while Smith had 70.The QB does not put a priority on Jonnu Smith and Allgier over Pitts and Bijan. Smith had an absolute obsessions with drawing up plays for his solid players and ignoring his stars.
Not ignored, I said drawn up plays. Of course Pitts would get more targets, he gets open.Um, Pitts had 90 targets while Smith had 70.
Robinson ran the ball 186 times while Robinson 214. Robinson had 86 targets out of the backfield while Allegier 23.
Neither star was ignored.
Ridder is a backup at best. A healthy Kirk Cousins will have more influence than any other change the Falcons made. You put Cousins on that squad last season? They are a playoff team. Even with Smith's play calling. Ridder couldn't execute, KC can.Not ignored, I said drawn up plays. Of course Pitts would get more targets, he gets open.
It's not really new news there. Spend 2 minutes reading up on Arthur Smith and his play calling, it was historically bad.
No improvement the Flacons made will make a bigger difference on the team than the coaching change.
You said it.The QB does not put a priority on Jonnu Smith and Allgier over Pitts and Bijan. Smith had an absolute obsessions with drawing up plays for his solid players and IGNORING his stars.
No argument that Ridder is nothing more than a backup qb. Still less of an upgrade than moving off Smith.Ridder is a backup at best. A healthy Kirk Cousins will have more influence than any other change the Falcons made. You put Cousins on that squad last season? They are a playoff team. Even with Smith's play calling. Ridder couldn't execute, KC can.
You would think. Then they'll get a WR hurt, one arrested, and theyll be passing it to Mecole Hardman and Justin Watson with the game on the line. The Chiefs should run away with the AFC West - the Raiders have a QB problem, the Chargers have no receivers and a shaky D, and the Broncos have a rookie QB and look very mediocre.
And Mahomes also has Kelce. And last season Mahomes showed it doesn't matter who he has at WR...You would think. Then they'll get a WR hurt, one arrested, and theyll be passing it to Mecole Hardman and Justin Watson with the game on the line.
You may want to take a look at the Bucs roster from 2009-2011.Smith was 21-30 (41%) as a HC.
Morris 20-38 (34%).
Go for it. That is right up your alleyInteresting. Did u check?
