Id take the early 2nd but DK just turned 27 so I will assume for now Raiders and a few other teams could get involved. That's my hope to get 2 picks out of a team.
Maybe a 2nd and a 2nd in 2026?

I would like to try and keep the 1st rounders..... :D

Maybe throw in a 4th in '25 if we can get Metcalf and a 3rd back?

:heh:

I vaguely remember that but RW said some nice things about Carroll on Pat McAfee recently.

May have had a change of heart about that?
After dealing with a year of Sean Payton publicly embarrassing you on the sidelines, I'd expect Pete wasn't as bad as he thought.

Eh, I think you overestimate the WR market, jersey. Even though he just turned 27, DK is not worth a 1st rounder. Not with the on field issues, one dimensional playstyle, contract item, and attitude. Let's not forget this draft is fairly decent/deep at WR - and they're pouring out of college now in pro style offenses. Not happening.

Seattle would be lucky to get an early 2nd... and should take that immediately. If anyone surrenders a 1st for DK I'd immediately give Seattle an A+ grade and the receiving team an F.

If there isn't a bidding war I'd definitely take this years 2nd and 2026 2nd.

It just takes 2 teams bidding against each other. Probably won't happen so 2nd would be fine with me.

An F for Metcalf? Maybe a C+.

Metcalf is a flat out baller....

Yah, for sure I hope it happens. If some team called right now and I was in John's shoes and said, "We'll give you our 1st for DK" I'd have to hold back my excitement when saying, "Sure."

He's a homerun threat for sure and you have to account for him, but there's too many negatives. Stiff routes, questionable hands, attitude issues, quits on plays (evidence of him doing this, I watch every Seahawks game), gets Cam Newton mopey... he's a weak #1 IMO.

But hey, if you know any NFL execs, please do us a favor and put in a good word for him! I'll be a great reference!

I mainly want him because Carroll coached him.

Several members of the Eagles defense will be hitting free agency, headed by Zack Baun, Milton Williams and Josh Sweat.

I suspect most if not all of those guys will not be returning, as they will get huge paydays. Philly is expected to try and keep Baum, but it may be impossible, he was All-Pro this past season and will get some huge offers. Sweat has been linked to Tampa and Detroit, and is coming off a huge Super Bowl, but he is a bit of a long-term risk as he had a major knee injury in high school and may have limited time left.

On offense, Mekhi Becton and Kenny Gainwell are likely the biggest Philly free agents, and I expect both will be gone, but frankly, neither is a very big loss. Gainwell is a nice player but they drafted his replacement in Will Shipley who seems to have similar skills.
