I don't quote many things from Ricky Henderson but he did say one thing I agree with... "If you can't convert on a steal 75% of the time, you shouldn't be stealing"...

Wow.. We scored only 3 runs so far in 3 games vs the Rays... The Rays have only scored 4 runs against us in 3 games and is 2-1... That's awful....

1- Retire the arrows...and that is a good thing.
2- Smith isn't ready per Lloyd which once again just shows what little Lloyd knows.
3- I owe Jackson an apology. He is hitting like he did with Detroit and worthy of being in lineup. Still not a leadoff hitter in my book.
4- My wife actually suggested this during the game and I think she is right; we need to call up Jones as a bench player. We were at our best last year when we made Jones the designated base stealer late in games. We are the least athletic team in baseball. Can't remember if I posted this before, but one scout was asked if Trumbo would turn this team around and he said no because he isn't athletic and athleticism is what turns a team around. I agree with that when you can't get straight out studs. Angels for years while winning were always known as the team that was best at going from 1st to 3rd. We go station to station more than not which takes an addition hit to score and we all know how hard that is for us to string hits together.
5- Winning is fun. We should do this more often.

Great to see him heating up but on a sad note he's gotten a hit in 10 of his last 11 games and has only scored a total of 2 runs, w/ one of the runs being a HR... Leadoff hitter is getting on base but no one has been able to hit him in...

i really hope to see some of the guys on this team who were brought up absurdly early get to real teams who know how to run an MLB club.

i look at some of the kids in tacoma right now, and get kind of sad thinking about how badly this club will ruin them.
