You know, if you're going to spend that much money on a guy then you probably want someone that's able to strap on a pair and rally the guys. Jeter did that in NY. Cano was obviously sitting at his locker counting the cash he was going to make with his next deal. He does this shit for the money. No love for the game. Nothing but that dumb look and slight head shake when another borderline call doesn't go his way.

When were you threatened with being banned? When were you 'ganged' up on by mods? And when have you been told not to share the truth? I mean if your version of that is someone calling you out for belittling people you think are beneath you and that's what you find as truth you aren't allowed to share then even that isn't true. I simply said I'd be there to speak up for those you chastise.

Baseball needs a commisoner to come around like David Stern or Roger Goodell who can go face to face with the union for that to happen. Problem is baseball salaries are so outrageous that even a lockout won't fix anything. They need the owners to ban together and do one year deals which obviously won't happen. Baseball is f*ed until the television bubble pops and even then it will be on life support cause that ADD/no father in the home generation aren't watching baseball anyways.

I'm not sure how you go about fixing a team this far into their own heads collectively at the plate and this undisciplined in the field, but clearly neither does McClendon or Jack Z.

Here is a guy we should pick up. He was just released by AZ and fits a big need for us. He is cheap and has been their backup catcher, but also has played major infield innings a few years back for Rockies. He beats Sucre all day long plus can play all infield positions and he has even played an inning of LF.
